Diaper Liners And Doublers
Diaper liners and doublers are very helpful in most cloth diapering systems.
People often ask what is the difference between a diaper liner and a diaper
doubler, so below is a short description.
Diaper liners
Diaper liners for cloth diapers are normally thin and are used to line the
inside of a cloth diaper to make stool removal easy. Diaper liners are not
normally helpful for increasing absorbency. Diaper liners do not significantly
increase the bulk of a cloth diaper.
Diaper doublers
Diaper doublers for cloth diapers come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and
fabrics. They are used to increase the absorbency of a cloth diaper by adding
extra layers of absorbent material between the inside of the cloth diaper and
baby's skin. Diaper doublers work well for night-time diapering and adding
absorbency to any cloth diapers for heavy wetters. Diaper doublers work well but
add extra bulk to the cloth diaper. |
