My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is looking at my three amazing miracles that I was told I would never have because of some medical issues, and my amazing husband who has stuck by me for the past 8 years. I have been blessed time over time, again and again and still I am amazed everyday that this is my life!

My favorite thing about Valentine’s Day is making homemade valentines and giving them to strangers on the street. It makes them smile and that’s worth more than any box of chocolates. My favorite is to give a valentine and a cup of warm coffee to the homeless man at the corner of our intersection. That just makes my day!

My favorite thing about Valentine’s day? Would have to be that my husband proposed to me on valentine’s day 10 years ago…he meant to do it the day before, but I woke up too early for him to surprise me!
I love that it’s focused on love. Especially when you get married, and have kids, the focus (at least with us) tends to be about the kids. Remembering your spouse and why you married them, and focusing on your marriage is a nice refresher!
